826 Valencia Tenderloin Center Wins CONTRACT Interiors Award

826 Valencia Tenderloin won the 2017 Contract Magazine 2017 Interiors:Education award. The project, which was done in collaboration with Gensler, MK Think, Architect Jonas Kellner, supports the creative writing skills of under-resourced children in San Francisco’s Tenderloin neighborhood. Contract design award jury said of the project, “This inspired interior promotes creativity
and exploration, creating an unexpected wonderland with a richness of spirit. One is transported into a tactile fantasy space that
is full of surprises. It is exciting that they did
this on a very minimal budget.”
