Becca brings over five years of experience working in Landscape Architecture in the Bay Area to her work at IA. She completed her Masters in Landscape Architecture at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. Her Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience led her to her passion for the environment and how it is perceived, with a focus on the multi-sensory systems of perception and the lesser-known areas of cognitive processing and proprioception – the understanding of where our body is in space without our visual input.
Her interest in the intersection of art, science and perception has led to the successful completion of community-activation projects for urban spaces in the Bay Area, where she contributed to The Studio for Public Spaces at the Exploratorium. She works to provide design leadership for community-oriented change and smaller scale prototyping projects that lead to the embrace of larger changes in urban landscapes.
