Grisha brings a deep understanding of the design process through his work in digital and physical modeling. His strong communication skills and experience in coordinating consultants and the work of design team members are a great asset in his project work at INTERSTICE.
His background in physical modelmaking reveals his attention to detail and ability to effectively conceptualize the construction process. Grisha’s experience in historical building renovation as well as the design of additions to existing institutional & academic structures, demonstrate how architecture and urban spaces best evolve and integrate, in his work at the Presidio and on USF’s campus. He is interested in the constantly changing physical environment and the various scales at which it is experienced- be it a work of architecture, an installation or art in the street. Outside IA Grisha can often be found exploring the city and honing his hand drawing skills in pastel, charcoal and aerosol paint. Grisha is a San Francisco native who received his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture at UC Berkeley.
